Save animals, save ourselves!

2022年4月14日下午，我校传统外语活动—英语演讲角在音乐教室如期举行。初2021级的同学们通过学习课本了解到拯救野生大象的重要性，进而引发了对野生动物保护的关注和思考。为进一步提升同学们对野生动物和生态环境的保护意识，初2021级师生开展了题为“Save animals, save ourselves!”(保护动物，就是在保护我们自己)的演讲角活动。来自初一年级的12位同学参加了本次活动，分享了自己对动物保护的认识和看法。另外，此次活动也有幸邀请到了张盛副校长、代东风副校长、周密校助、郭玲伊主任和初一各班班主任们，大家一同见证初一年级同学们的成长，为他们加油打气！

野生动物是自然生态系统的重要组成部分，是大自然赋予人类的宝贵自然资源。保护野生动物资源，维护自然生态平衡，不仅关系到人类的生存与发展，也是衡量一个国家、一个民族、一个城市文明进步的重要标志。各位同学在精心准备的演讲中向我们讲述了一些野生动物的生存与生活现状，不仅表达了自身对动物的热爱，也旨在呼吁大家共同行动起来关爱动物，共建美好家园，实现人与自然和谐共处。接下来就让我们一起来聆听初2021级同学们对于人与自然的思考吧！

演讲最后，代校首先对本次演讲者们给予了充分肯定，尽管有演讲者临场发挥较紧张，但能站上台用英语表达出自己的想法已经是较大的成长。同时代校也鼓励作为观众的同学们能像演讲者一样，多参与外语活动，敢于表达，善于展现，进一步提升自身语言能力与自信心。接着张校也对同学们的表现予以肯定和鼓励，虽然教室外阴雨绵绵，但教室内的同学们却大放异彩。小小少年，就有了对人与自然的较深层次思考，能拥有保护动物、人人有责的社会责任意识和担当，值得赞扬。同时张校也希望同学们能在一次次的演讲展示和自我挑战中收获更大的进步，绽放更耀眼的光芒，创造更多的奇迹！
